1) Still looking for Veterans who would like the COLD WAR METAL

2) Attached is a request for your extra yarn that you are not using to be sent to San Juan County Jail Education Center from Post 4 Mt. Pleasant American Legion Post.

3) Here is a opportunity to share your Military History. The State Historian for Utah has requested that items/materials be collected for a research center to be built at Fort Douglas in Salt Lake City.  Materials include but not limited are:

   Photographs       

   Books           

   Letters  

   Mentions in Family Histories

   Transcripts of Oral Histories              

   Documents      

   War Relics

Feb 15 VCSU Meeting

Hi everyone, a reminder that we will meet Tuesday, Feb. 15 at 1 p.m. at the American Legion Post 90.  If you have any items you would like for me to put on the agenda, please let me know ASAP.  Our speaker is going to be Mariana Krall, who will discuss what the VA is doing on the suicide prevention front and what projects are currently in the works.  Thanks, and see you Tuesday.

Attention American Legion Members

1) Ballot of officers for membership year 2023.  If you are interested in any of the offices please let me know as soon as possible so your name can be added to the list. IN THE EVENT that there 2 names then a vote will take place.

2) There is going to be another GARAGE SALE on April 1 & 2 at 268 S Main St, Washington. DONATIONS ARE WELCOME AND ARE NEEDED. This will go to help the Veterans in need.  I will come to you to pick up donated items.

3) There was a request for information concerning THE UTAH COLD WAR VICTORY MEDAL.  IF YOU served from September 2, 1945 to 26 December 1991 you are eligible for this medal.  If interested in receiving this medal please  email or call me so your name can be added to the list.

4)  May 31st, Memorial Day, the program for Post 90 will be held at Spilsbury Mortuary Chapel at 10:00am followed by a laying of a wreath for Lester Keate at St George Cemetery.
