The dedication for the Gold Star Families Memorial Monument is Saturday, March 26 at 11 a.m. at Historic Town Square. Please be advised that seating will be limited, so bring your own lawn or camp chair if you would like to sit.
Honoring Vietnam Veterans at County Fair
The Washington County Fair runs from April 20 - 23 and on the 21st at 10 a.m. there will be a special ceremony to honor Vietnam Veterans. Save room on your calendar for that day to come out to the fairgrounds to be recognized.
Also, the Vietnam display board, which will be posted all 4 days of the fair, will feature pictures of Vietnam veterans that you and I send in to the fair coordinator, Susi LaFaele. If you have a photo or two of you in Nam or after Nam, send them through your computer to Susi's email: susi@washcofair.net.
