Vets Who Fish

Raymond Musser, from Hand in Hand Outdoors, has a really nice pontoon boat that needs some veterans to use it to go fishing.  We need to get our brothers and sisters in arms on the water for a break from the daily grind and enjoy the company of one another.  If we can keep the parties between 2 to 5, it will allow all to fish and keep from overcrowding the boat.  I will supply rods, reels, bait, tackle and a cooler full of cold water.  If they would like anything to eat while on the boat, they can bring whatever.  No alcohol, no bananas.  Bananas are bad luck on fishing boats.  Also we are always in need of rods, reel and other fishing equipment.  If you know of anybody who wants to donate, I can give them a receipt to write off on their taxes.   The following dates are open.

July 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 26, 27, 28
August 9, 10,16, 17, 23, 24, 30, 31

Starting July 21 and then every Friday after that, the Ivins Veterans Home will be putting veterans on the boat.  I could use help on those days for anybody that wants to come along.  This pontoon boat is for us to use.  Ray would like to get us using this boat.  If you would like to go fishing or have any questions, please contact me or call Ray at 801-336-0945.  Remember, this boat is for our use and it does not cost anything.
